buy the men's version if it will fit you
I was one of those who requested that LL Bean come out with a version of its men's multisport pants for women. But the execution shows the following features left out:
* Rear wallet pocket with snap closure.
* Articulated knees for natural motion.
* Draw cords at cuffs which can help to keep ticks out. while hiking or gardening.
This makes them a lot less functional for active movement. The also lack the faux fly detailing and the more stylish drawstring pattern at the waist. Overall, they look like you could have bought them at the dollar store. If you climb, or bike, or are just a caregiver like me trying not to need to carry a purse while you push your loved one's wheelchair, these are not much different from the previously existing pants LL Bean has been offering. To add insult to injury, for this dumbed down version they charge women an extra $10.00 over the men's price!

Fit perfectly!
These pants fit me perfectly. The fabric is very lightweight and comfortable. Will be cool on a hot day! Very comfortable.

Be Aware It's a Wide Leg
I really wanted to keep these but it was not at all the fit I hoped for. The fabric and features are all fine. However, the leg is quite straight and wide and the pants seem long for a petite small inseam (it was more than a full break with the pants at my natural waist). These would have been perfect if they had a slim leg cut.

Simple and Great!
I bought this for a trip to Alaska this summer. Very happy with them. They look great and you can wear them day time and even for a casual dinner. Happy about the water resistant and SPF features. The side pockets are nice and deep. It’s a simple design, and I like that about these pants. Very comfortable. I’m glad I ordered these pants and will use a lot during the winter in Florida or during other trips. I’m also planning to wear with the LLBean airlight vest and/or jacket. Looks sharp together!
