  • 60g PrimaLoft insulation for a touch of warmth.
  • Exceptionally soft and lightweight B-Bound® midsole provides superior cushioning.
  • Padded collar for enhanced comfort.
  • Durable, high-quality full-grain leather upper that's responsibly sourced.
  • Lace-up style provides an adjustable fit with side zipper for easy on/off.
  • True Comfort footbed adds superior fit and all-day comfort.
  • VertiGrip outsole for traction on multiple surfaces.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable for all day I absolutely love these boots. Initially the collar made my leg sore because I wasn't used to a high top boot, but after a couple weeks it was fine. I've been wearing them pretty much daily for months now, fall and winter. The footbed is so comfortably cushioned, I can go all day in them, long walks with my pup and hours on my feet in the studio. A bit wide for my narrow feet, but it's heavy sock season anyway. I definitely recommend!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't buy for the zipper feature As others have said the zippers are useless on these boots. I bought them especially for the zippers so I am not too pleased. They are good boots though the green color is also not as I expected. They are used for feeding animals and other yard work so not a big deal. Not really what I expected from LL Bean though they do seem durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice boots I like the style and quality of these boots but really needed something more suitable for snow. I ended up returning them for the snow sneakers . I may buy them again for everyday use. Love the look.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lacing is confusing Comfortable from the first time I wore them. Like the side zipper and no trouble getting them on and off. However, I can’t figure out how to lace them. Are the laces supposed to feed under that loop? If I use the top hooks then the tie is then above the top of the boot. The picture doesn’t show a tie so that’s no help. Plus, the laces don’t really stay tied! Hoping to figure it out because I really do like the boots.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Clodhoppers. You’ll trip over your own feet. I gave them 3 stars cuz you can get worse boots, but you can also get much better. I bought them 1 year ago and tried to make them okay, with work arounds, i.e. I don’t lace up the top 2 hooks, so they don’t dig into the ankle. And the zipper is pointless, I don’t even try to use them as a zip-ups. You can barely get them on or off, even if they’re unzipped and the laces are loosened up. These shoes are wide, and thick. The leather and lacing are so ham-fisted you can barely tighten them. I got lace-ups cuz you can adjust for width for narrow feet, like mine are. And I got lace-ups so I can lace them to size, and then zip them off and on. But not these. Plus, they try to be running shoes, not just sneakers, with that dumb extra spoiler on the back. It causes you to trip over your own feet: it gets caught on a step, the bottom of a rolling chair, the door bottom… Maybe it’s good for putting on unzipped to take out the trash, or standing in one spot to chop wood. Forget about playing outdoors with the kids. What’s good about them? They aren’t uncomfortable (like any shoe that’s too big and sloppy). They’re warm, but so are Air Jordans. And Jordans look better, are easier to walk in and aren’t clumsy. I got a size 10 in red and an 11 in green (I wear a 10 1/4). The red looks much better. But I had to give the red ones away cuz they were too short. L.L. Bean doesn’t make a 10 1/2. Not that it matters, cuz they’re goofy no matter what. The sole is thick and cushiony, but it’s so much work to lace them up that you don’t even wanna bother with them. Good luck, wide foot people. You’ll probably give them 5 stars.
