For nearly 90 years, we've been making our authentic Scotch Plaid flannel shirts the way we always have: better than everyone else's. Our exclusive flannel fabric is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.

Good first impression
I just received this shirt. Perfect size at 2xlt. Seems the right length in both torso and sleeves. Very comfy. On the thinner side which is why I wish they included the fabric weight on the site. Doesn't seem to be a negative though. Seems warm and will be great at current thickness for layering. I will be buying more flannels down the road so I am very happy with the quality so far. Time will tell how it holds up.

My husband’s Favorite of all his Bean Flannels
Bought this for my husband and he loves it. That says a lot because he is very particular about his shirts. The fabric was soft and the colors are a great combo.

Love this flannel shirt
I love this shirt, it's so soft and warm. It's the perfect weight for my office in the summer, due to freezing A/C in the building. I bought the men's XL, so it goes over what I'm already wearing, and easily buttons around me. I just have to fold the cuffs back once for perfect sleeve length.

I have several colors of this shirt and just got the new blue color and it’s as nice as the rest. Fits great. A comfortable lounge around short, but looks great out in public too.
