Just what I was looking for!
I was looking for a midthigh length hooded raincoat and this was perfect. The mesh lining works well here in Southern California (yes, we do get rain), and it packs well for travel. Zippers and pockets are of high quality. Would definitely buy again.

The two shallow pockets, without zippers or snaps, make them nearly useless. For the price, that's just wrong.

Just what I wanted
I purchased this coat to replace an older version that I used to wear walking my dog in all weathers. Like that one, this coat is excellent by itself in cool rainy weather but roomy enough to layer under. I especially appreciate the generous hood. And since I purchased the black version this time, it has a dressier-casual look for going out with people (vs. dogs). Like the older version, the zipper can be glitchy, easy to get cross-threaded and stuck, but like the old zipper, I can just yank the sides apart to free the zipper pull without damaging it. I purchased this coat on sale and it's an excellent value for the money.
