Good fit, but miss the pockets
This version fit me better than the “original fit” option, which has an ultra-high waist. (I’m 5’5”, 120 lbs.) But the slim option doesn’t have pockets, which I really miss. Perhaps you could combine the two designs into a slim option with pockets. That said, I like the pants - they are comfortable, can be styled a number of ways, and look fine.

Another Awesome Purchase from LLBean
I love, love, love these pants! They are soft and somewhat stretchy and oh so comfortable. Another review said the waistband flopped over but I have not experienced that. They’re like wearing yoga pants with much less of a gym vibe. They fit very well although I purchased the medium tall length thinking they might shrink a bit in the dryer. Ooops! No shrinkage at all. I could probably have used the regular but I love these too much to return them.

WOMEN’S PERFECT FIT PANTS
I have several pair of these pants. I used to order these in the regular size but decided to try a petite. The length is fine but I really love the slimmed down fit! I appreciate that they are offered in petite and plus sizes besides the regular size. I have ordered similar pants elsewhere with the tacked waist. It was never a problem for me, other than difficulty when folding them. I personally don’t mind not having pockets. I find that pockets just add bulk in the stomach area. The fabric is great, it is a nice weight, retains its shape and is durable/long lasting. I wish they came in white for summer but I do appreciate the addition of the new colors that L.L. Bean is now offering. My daughter loves the fit as well.

Very poor quality. They certainly aren't 'slim fit". They're very baggy. Cheaply sewn at the waist. I'll be returning them soon.

Do NOT fit as well as older ones.
Even though I have multiple pairs of this pant, I wanted one in the new color ‘Cinder.
I love the color, but, the fit is way off. I ordered my usual PS and they are too large, as well as WAY too long. The older ones fit perfectly.

Did it really save that much money not to tack down the waistband? It's still wearable, but aggravating to have to tuck the waistband down where it belongs. Also quality control on seam sewing needs to be maintained a bit better. There is some irregularity on one leg, but it's still wearable.
