Beautiful shirt
This shirt is comfortable, looks great and is well made. Pairs beautifully with light wash jeans or ivory chinos for a sophisticated casual look.

Great blouse, but needs sleeve alterations.
Last winter, I bought some corduroy popover tops here, and the Large fit best.
I ordered both M and L in this linen/rayon blouse, and the Medium was fine across the bust. No tendency to gap at the button placket!
The plaids and stripes are classic and yet fresh, really nice. The top has a classic, kind of 1960's vibe, to me. Preppy, in the best, classy way.
I also like the slightly shorter length, and the 3/4 sleeve length!
But, the sleeves are huge and unbecoming. They need some serious taking-in from the upper arm to the cuff ... especially the cuff! Its big and makes the rest of the shirt look too boxy. And care must be taken when altering, so that when the cuff is flipped up, the exposed seam looks refined.
I've had this issue with other shirts and dresses from other manufacturers, too. My arms aren't unusually shaped. I think that the designers and fitters don't realize that large, fuller than strictly necessary sleeves make the whole body look big; they're not proportional to the rest of the body.
Because of this, I think that the blouse is overpriced. For $100, the proportions should be just-right.

Classy, casual look
This blouse is lovely, roomy and comfortable. It just feels 'classy' when I wear it with a pair of casual slacks.

Color different from the picture
The mariner blue looks black, not blue so not very summery looking. I didn't realize the blend was linen/rayon, I thought it was line/cotton so my fault for not checking. I don't like the blend and drape. I haven't tried it on yet but I can tell from the other comments that I'm going to have to go down a size; it looks huge. I expected something fresh-looking and crisp so I'm very disappointed in this item.

Wouldn’t buy again
The material is comfortable but the shape looks odd on the body. And this blouse is huge. I wish I’d gone down a size but I’d assumed some shrinkage. It doesn’t wash well, very wrinkly.
