Should have read reviews first
With the overall great reviews for this shirt, I mistakenly did not read them to get more details. I bought the white and it was a big mistake. It is sheer and cheap looking. I don't know how to get clothing companies to understand that a see through white t shirt is useless. It's a summer top called "SunSmart". Obviously I don't want to layer it. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, a little quality control? How about a white shirt I can wear where you can't clearly see my bra and my shorts through it? Returning this.

Very disappointing
I bought a SunSmart short sleeve tee in a white shade, called SeaSalt. This is the first time that I have ever been disappointed by L.L. Bean. The shirt was made of flimsy, sheer, and see-through material - totally unwearable without a cami. I will be donating it to my local Goodwill store, in hopes that someone can use it.

Love the shirt
The small fit ok but the XS also fit and looked better. I would have gone with the small if that was the only size available. I love the fit. The white is see-through. The fig color is not. I just ordered the blue & teal colors. I need short sleeve shirts that dry quickly for dinghy sailing where I am very likely to get wet.
