The shoes are not as comfortable as others I have bought. I am used to the very old LL BEAN quality that I use to get when we use to go to the OLD facility in Freeport many years ago. The were made in the US and quality and fit was better. I feel that LL Bean is more interested in Profit over their customers quality.

Bought these because expensive athletic shoes didn’t hold up in my daily activities and they were not waterproof. Bought these and they fit great out of the box and have been great in all my activities. And my feet have stayed dry through a wet couple of weeks.

I have purchase many pairs of this shoe over the years. The price increased and the quality deteriorated with the two pairs in this purchase. Previous models used goretex and this one seems to have a synthetic plastic upper which is not as flexible or comfortable.

Great shoe. But…
But after 3 months of light use the right shoelace began to shred! Very frustrating! Ordinarily my laces last 12 to 18 months! As always the shoes fit just fine and are very comfortable

Not waterproof
Bought at start of winter for not-so-deep snow. They're attractive and well constructed. Worked fine for cold and for dry snow. As soon as the precip turned to mixed snow/rain or heavy rain I was getting wet toes. Not what I expected from a Bean product. Disappointed
