Happy these returned.
I wore these shoes until they fell apart back in the 80’s. This iteration is the closest I’ve seen to my old ones, except for the color. These are much more brown. Not gonna lie, I don’t like this color as much. But otherwise I’m happy with them. They fit true to size. Not a lot of arch support, but thin orthotics fit well.

They hit these out of the park!
I wear size 9 but after reading reviews decided to order 9.5. They fit perfect. Been wearing them around the house, they are super comfy. No break in required. Color is different,but very pretty. I love these!! Don't hesitate to buy!! Well made! But beware they do run small .

I was skeptical, but now I'm thrilled.
I have wanted Bean to reissue Bluchers for women since they were discontinued years ago. I lived in mine throughout my childhood and early college years. I was worried about the new version and its lighter-colored sole looking like a Buster Brown shoe, but now I don't care. This version appears well-made and sturdy with all the similarities of the 80s version. I am a standard size 8M, and I ordered an 8.5M. Good choice. These run short. Maybe the next issue can be made in the USA versus El Salvador. For now, I am going to put these Bluchers to work and see if they last as long as my old ones. Thanks for bringing back a classic!!

Old friends are back - but run small
I had Blucher mocs decades ago, and wore them for years until they disintegrated. After being gone from the Bean catalog for so long, I was thrilled to see they have finally returned. I hi-tailed it to my local Bean store to pick up a pair. They look pretty much the same as they did in my youth, with soft, comfortable leather uppers, which made me happy. However, my normal size (7.5) proved to be surprisingly tight in the toes, so I had to step up to an 8, which fits fine. This shoe does not come in Wide (which I usually wear), only Medium, but the leather is pliable enough that they still fit comfortably, and the break-in has been painless so far. Take-away: If you loved these shoes in the past, grab this chance to pick up another pair -- but consider sizing up for a proper fit.

Quality is good but ran small.
I was so excited to see Bean make these after not seeing them for decades. I normally take an 8.5m or wide. These were incredibly small on me. Not just the width but the length. I could barely get my feet into them. Disappointed because they are nice looking and very classic. If they are ever offered in wide I would try a 9w.
