Used to be Wicked Good. Now, just wicked.
After ordering a new pair of the Wicked Good moccasins every year since the 1990’s, sadly I may stop. It seems as if the shoe is half of what it used to be. By that I mean weight, coverage, stability. The heel area is flimsy, runs over due to no reinforcement. Used to come up to my ankle, now is cut at least two inches below. Making the foot feel exposed, not enveloped in warmth as it used to be. Not as much foot pad/cushion. In this last order the left shoe was noticeably wider than the right shoe. Rounded foot vs subtle point. No matter how tight I pull the leather ties, the shoes flop off my feet when I walk due to minimal coverage. On the verge of NOT SAFE. I’m sad.
