Size up
My son wears a size 12 in boys and the medium was too short on his arms so we had to go in store and exchange for a large. Exchange was easy and luckily they had the same color he wanted. We live in Colorado so this is perfect for chilly days and school use and even travel.

Purchase for my 7 year old son
He loves the jacket and it keeps him warm on the coldest of days in NYC. He is active outdoors and the jacket is thin and super warm allowing him to be flexible outdoors. Great purchase.

Fell apart in one month
We’ve had this for one month and used couple of times and it’s already falling apart at the seams. Have t even played in it just used for errands. Very disappointing. Nice color and true to size

Very low quality nylon
My son is not hard on his clothing, and after wearing this jacket for a short period (at most 45 minutes between 3 uses), the nylon tore. He ran into a chain-link fence and stepped back to find that his jacket was ripped. Literally bumped it. Once ripped you can see how low quality and thin the nylon is. I was told that the nylon is too low quality to even repair. That it would keep shredding. His twin sister has the purple one I'll let you know if hers tears as well.

Great jacket for kids... not too heavy or light
My son is 34 years old now and we always bought him LL Bean winter coats because they are comfortable and durable. Now that he has kids, I always but their winter coats from LL Bean. It started when they were born and continues now that they are 3 and 7 years old. The Mountain Bound reversible is no longer available, but this is a perfect substitute. The kids and their parents look forward to receiving them every year and the pass on the used ones to friends with several children because they really do no wear out! Thanks LL Bean.
