Nice but wish it was truly full size
It’s really nice for summer when you just want something but not too much. However I am pretty fed up with this business of making people buy a queen size because they can’t be bothered to make blankets for a double bed. Sheets you can buy to fit but they won’t bother for blankets and the extra fabric has to get tucked or it’s unsightly. I don’t know why it’s such a big deal to make blankets that fit double beds. It’s not like it costs them more. I wanted to update some bedding but it’s been frustrating. The quality is okay, I don’t know if it will hold up but it’s nice for the summer. It’s just very wasteful given the old bedsteads in our little cottage. It’s all double and single beds because the rooms are small in old houses.

Excellent lightweight blanket
Nice, lightweight blanket for a warm climate. Soft fabric and lightweight make this the perfect blanket for summer and milder winter nights. Like the gauze like texture.

Too delicate for pets
This is a beautiful blanket and I loved the color. However I have a dog that sleeps with me every night. Last night two of her toenails punctured the blanket. She was not digging into the blanket. She was not chewing on the blanket. She jumped on the bed and her toenails sank through one layer of the blanket.

Strong chemical smell
I've washed the blanket 3 times so far setting my machine to heavy soil and double rinse, and it still smells strongly of chemicals/new fabric. I had to rewash other items that went through at the same time because the smell transferred. I hope eventually I can wash the smell out, but so far I still have a blanket I can't use. The material is nice and soft and lightweight, but the smell is a huge let down.
