Product Details

Authentic jeans with classic style. Our most versatile jeans feature distinctive details and a bit of stretch.

  • Standard Fit: Sits lower on waist.
  • Straight leg.
  • Straight through hip and thigh.

Our all-new, wear-everywhere jeans will always be in style. We chose a lighter-weight denim for all-season wear, with a bit of stretch for extra comfort. The high-quality fabric goes through a special washing process so it feels soft from the start, with no break in required. Then we carefully selected button, rivet and thread colors that are unique to each wash for a classic look--it's these small details that make all the difference. These jeans will fit perfectly & wear well for years to come.

  • 99% cotton, 1% spandex.
  • Our lightest-weight jeans, in 12.25 oz. denim.
  • Machine wash and dry.
  • Slight distressing at pockets and hem.
  • Triple-needle stitching at back yoke for durability.
  • Classic five-pocket styling.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and Expressive Jeans The Vintage 1212 jeans are, as far as I am concerned, the best. They fit wonderfully, look great, and are soft. One thing that is nice is that this particular jean stays on the market. I have bought three pairs over a two-year time frame.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ya broke what didn't need fixing I was sad to see that this style of jeans which used to be 100% cotton 6 years ago is now part of city clicker club with stretchiness added to it. It didn't need fixing before, and now ya went and broke it. Booo. And I think ya need to look hard at what you call "straight" in the legs... cause they taper and hug the thighs pretty tight now, and I haven't gained any weight. Again, I think city folk styling is to blame.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ruined a good thing My old 100% cotton 1912s are great. This new spandex blend falls off me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not quite the 1912 of previous generation. I have been purchasing L.L. Bean jeans for more than 10 years. Material quality and build quality is not that of the previous generation. I feel that the price did not justify the quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jeans! I got these jeans at the L.L. Bean outlet store. They were on sale. I tried them on. They fit like a glove. I was done the transaction in five minutes! Went back and got a cashmere sweater at 50% off!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vintage 1912 jeans These have become my favorite. They feel great and the fit is consistent, not like some other brands. I can order from L L Bean and know that my jeans will fit. Thanks!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Jeans I've Ever Had I received three of these as a gift. In 4 months, all three had come apart either in the crotch or backside. They just deteriorate in the threads. Upon closer inspection, there are actual cotton threads that run vertically, but horizontally, they are held together by these thin, spider web like threads of plastic. I don't put them in the dryer, just hang dry. Very disappointed with the quality.
