LOVE IT.
I bought this in the fall of 2023 because we were spending a lot of time in the Seattle area visiting our son. As fall turned to winter and it became increasingly colder and rainier, this jacket was perfect. It truly is 3 in 1. I used it mostly with both layers and I still had room underneath to dress in more layers, so I stayed incredibly warm while out walking in the rainy cold weather or riding on a ferry. The hood was perfect. I sometimes also had on a warm fuzzy hat in addition to the hood. Then as it begin warming up outside I just wore one layer, the inner coat. And now, in 2026, I'll be taking the outer layer on a trip where it may rain but not be at all chilly. This has been one of the best coats I have ever owned. I'm 5'2", 116 lbs, and I got it in a Petite Small. I love the blue color. It looks just as pictured.

Four years and the zipper is dead
I was never really thrilled with the fit, but I put up with it. And now the zipper for the outer shell (made of cheap plastic, unlike the inner part) does not stay zipped. I came back to this site to maybe buy another one, but not this style.

Plus Size Runs small
I purchased this jacket for an upcoming trip to Scotland. I ordered a 2X, which is my size in every brand and fits me well. This item runs really small. I could barely get my arms through the sleeves.

Great color and feel
This jacket fit well and I really liked the comfort. However, it was just too bulky to put in my winter hiking pack. If it was cheaper, I may have found a way to deal with it, but it was too pricey for it to be less than what I was looking for.

Perfect jacket for rugged outdoor use
The Women’s Trail Model Waterproof 3 in 1 Jacket is absolutely waterproof. I purchased it for a trip to Iceland in July and it was the perfect weight for warmth plus waterproof and windproof. The lining zipped in and out easily. It was still roomy enough to fit a sweatshirt under if the weather turned colder. H
