We've taken our rugged ripstop shorts to the next level of comfort with an ultrasoft feel, a touch of stretch and a soft-knit elastic waistband.
- In a durable ripstop blend of 98% cotton with 2% spandex for just the right amount of stretch.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Side pockets and two back patch pockets with snaps.
- Roll from 10" to 7" inseam and secure with twill roll tabs and snaps.

Great fit (I returned the small for x-small)
Totally pleased with these shorts. Quality construction, I like the snaps on the back pockets, good length which can be neatly shortened and very nice color.

Leg opening and hem trouble
This is a wonderful material for summer. Not the polyester or nylon stretch that so dominates everything and is hot IMO. The problem with these shorts though is if you wear them at full length, like I wish to, the leg openings are quite wide and the hem curls not matter if you pull them out of dryer right away or not. It is an ironing challenge after every wash. I wish LLB would redesign these just to allow for a single length with a hem that does not curl and crease.

Just what I wanted!
I asked AI for a recomendation for plus sized shorts that were long enough so I wouldn't get 'chub rub' on my thighs, that wouldn't gap in the waistband, and would dry quickly when i was sweaty on a hot day. They recomended these shorts, and they were right! they are so comfy, the waist doesn't sag and they are great in hot weather. Good to have an AI success story lolol.

A winner every time!
I’ve purchased 6 pair of these Bermuda shorts. They fit well & have a flexible elastic waistband; they are also sturdy & perfect for summer wear. I enjoy several of the shades although this khaki color is classic. They wash up great & are handy for travel or local fun. You cannot go wrong with these darling utilitarian shorts.

Great length for shorts
I keep buying these shorts because they're comfortable and the only ones I can find that have a 10 inch inseam. But warning (and this is true of a lot of LLBean) - the same size can fit dramatically differently in different colors. I wish LLBean could get their sizing straightened out.

Almost worked
I like the shorts overall. The material is nice and the waist band was comfortable. Unfortunately, the roll up function just didn't work. The shorts taper so the rolled up cuff could not lay flat, even when ironed. With only 1 tab on the outer side, the inner side tended to unroll, even when ironed. They just don't look great. I also found that they were not comfortable when walking. Even though the legs were plenty loose, they pulled on the front of my leg above the knee with every step. Unrolled, they were too baggy in the thighs. I'm sorry to say that I returned them.

Comfortable shorts
