One missing detail
Overall fit: Good! I ordered the 12 long and I am 5’10, 185lbs. Plenty of coverage in the rear, and the bust was flattering, not totally covered up but well supported. Straps are not adjustable but I felt like the long was accurate and there was stretch for someone taller than me. The leg holes were a bit snug but I carry more of my weight in my hips and butt so that’s to be expected.
Pros: Accentuates the waistline, fabric feels good quality, comfortable. I love that the bra cups are sewn in and that there was a shelf bra—much more supportive for a larger chest.
Con: The front of the suit is lined with a nude color that makes the front of the suit thicker, less stretchy and the colors pop. The back has NO LINING. Such a bummer!!! Because it’s a shaping suit and has a bit of compression the back gets so stretched out because it has more give without the extra support/compression of the lining. This makes the colors look faded and more see through on the back side. It also makes the side seams appear more forward on the body than they should be. I’m considering trying the 14 to see if it’s better but I just feel like that might make the top too big and lose some of the compression/shaping I was hoping for. Considering L.L. Bean’s reputation for quality I would expect the whole suit to be lined. If it was fully lined it would be PERFECT and I would be buying more!

Needs adjustable straps!
Please add adjustable straps to this suit! tried this suit on in the store in the regular length; one was tight overall and the next size up was too large in the top, especially around the armholes. Ordered the smaller of the 2 sizes in a long (which I have purchased in past years and in other brand swim suits). I felt like it fit just the same as the larger regular size swimsuit I had tried on so ended up returning it. I did purchase the tankini top in the same print as it had adjustable straps and I was able to get it to fit well. I would have preferred a one piece suit.

Looking good @ 75.
This year's new swimsuit. I wear a size 10 and the medium fit perfectly. Love the colors and the flattering shape and fit. Well-constructed and dries quickly.

A Perfect Fit
I'm 5'10" 118 pounds, 36C. The size 8 Long fits perfectly. I wasn't thrilled with the Cobalt Mosaic tile print. I ordered a 10 Long in Black Fern Leaf for comparison. It was too loose. For some reason I ended up more satisfied with the Cobalt Mosaic Print. I would have tried a suit with an underwire if it were available, but this style works for me.

Size seems to run large
I’m 5’ 6” and 135 lbs, 34 C and usually wear size 12. Following LL Beans size chart I was a 12 and ordered that. Returned due to poor fit. The girls were “swimming” in the top, too big.

Love that it comes in long. At 5 ft 5 you wouldn't think I need a long but I do and you can't get them in stores. So thank you it's perfect.
