Made from premium stretch denim, with state-of-the-art S GENE® technology, the breakthrough fabric "remembers" its shape for superior retention. While the average recovery of other stretch denim is around 70% (leaving plenty of room for bagging and sagging), True Shape recovers 91% of its original shape (ensuring a great fit all day, every day). When I discovered you've discontinued women's double l jeans, your sales rep recommended these jeans as the closest substitute. So I ordered them. I even ordered a size up as a reviewer said they ran small.
They arrived today: bizarre sizing -- too tight on waist with 4-inch zipper trying to accommodate a high-rise style. Fabric middling quality. Nothing like the L.L. Bean quality I've been used to. They're going back.

jeans that really do fit!
I have worn these jeans for years. They fit so well that I have only two other pairs of jeans of another brand. All others were donated or given away years ago. I love that I can get the classic fit (higher waist) in all the finishes. The lengths are perfect for me also .I am anxious to try the new "trouser" version. Glad to see that LLB brought those back.

I have been buying LL Bean’s jeans for years, but it appears there is a new supplier. The jeans are baggy in the front crotch area. I had always purchased #73142 Skinny Jeans, but these are not equal to the original product 😠

Great fit
I have a couple of several of jeans in different color washes — washed indigo and black. I used to wear slim fit but with the trend toward wider pant legs this was what I settled on as best for my 5’3” figure. I love the fit! They are very comfortable and I will be buying more. They wear and wash well. I had to go up a size in the black wash.
