Made from premium stretch denim, with state-of-the-art S GENE® technology, the breakthrough fabric "remembers" its shape for superior retention. While the average recovery of other stretch denim is around 70% (leaving plenty of room for bagging and sagging), True Shape recovers 91% of its original shape (ensuring a great fit all day, every day). These jeans will follow your every move and look just as good at the end of the day as they did when you first put them on.

Comfortable jeans
The description checked all my requirements: high rise and petite inseam of 28", fitted through hip and thigh with straight leg. No shrinkage after washing. I measured and the actual rise is 11" and inseam 28".
The waistband seems to run small, which has been a recurring problem for me in my old age. For a comfortable waistband I had to go up two sizes from my usual 8 Petite to 12 Petite. This made the legs a little looser which I like in this case; it worked well for me because of the fitted style of the legs - they weren't too wide to start with. For reference I am 5'3" and 123 lbs.
I love these jeans and wear them almost every day. They do keep their shape - no baggy knees.

Well made jeans
Well made and good length for me. One drawback is that the waist is a bit too tight - those of us who require a size 14 tend to also need a bit looser waist (at least speaking for myself!). Keeping the jeans anyway - hopefully will be able to wear them in a few months.

Best fitting jeans I’ve ever purchased!
I bought these pants in black and in one of their dark jean colors. Before these pants, the closest I could get to a good fit were Lee jean; however, they never did fit over my lower hips and thighs. They were so baggy in those areas that it looked like I had jodhpurs on. I am so impressed with the fit of these L.L. Bean jeans. They were great for me. Both pants were consistent in size and the material is so lightweight and so comfortable. When I say lightweight, I don’t mean unsubstantial - the texture was great.. Wash well. I’ve received so many compliments on these jeans and some of my friends say they’re going to have to give them a try. These are definitely quality jeans and I will be buying more in the future. Thank you L.L. Bean. Don’t change the fit of these jeans! I love them!

Too small.
I have several size 4 LLBean
jeans which fit. These new ones are not the same size - too small. A little consistancy, please!
