Who knows how the compare to other brands, I got tired of staring at bot comments on reddit. these look great in the room and feel good. Not quite lux hotel, but good enough for me. A great mattress is more important.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed! I bought two sets of king sheets in 2023 based on the NYT Wirecutter recommendation. They are washed weekly and rotated between the two sets. After three years (with 18 months of use for each set) a long tear in the fabric appeared along a persistent crease in the top hem. This makes the top sheet unusable, as my hand caught in the tear repeatedly. 18 months of use for a $200+ set of sheets is a disappointment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely fabric, a bit too small I love the fabric of these sheets as they have a wonderful, crisp feel and are just the right weight. However, today's mattresses are inexplicably thick, usually starting at 14 inches or more and the fitted sheet just doesn't make it. Measurements are listed as 15 inch deep pockets which barely makes it to the bottom of a 14 inch mattress. I struggle to re-tuck the fitted sheet in every morning. I was aware of this when purchasing, but hoped for the best. My fault for sure.
