We've taken our rugged ripstop shorts to the next level of comfort with an ultrasoft feel, a touch of stretch and a soft-knit elastic waistband.
- In a durable ripstop blend of 98% cotton with 2% spandex for just the right amount of stretch.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Faux-fly front.
- Roll from 10" to 7" inseam and secure with twill roll tabs and snaps.
- Comfortable knit waistband with adjustable drawstring.

Disappointing
I bought these in Ash Rose and Carbon Navy. The Ash Rose color is gorgeous, but the Carbon Navy is not really navy. It's more like a bluish gray and is lighter than the online photo. Was planning on wearing these unrolled for more leg coverage, but I can't because the bottoms bell-out strangely at the bottom, looking awkward. I thought maybe I just got a defective pair, but they both have the silly flaring in the bottom two inches of the legs. I also can't just half roll them, because then the hanging straps for the cuff show . And, they are too short for me when rolled and snapped in. So, I have to half roll them and safety pin the straps inside the leg, which is ridiculous for a $60 pair of shorts. Plus, since I'm allergic to metal, I may have to cut the cuff straps off completely, since the metal snaps touch the skin if you wear the shorts unrolled. They are true to size. I weigh 163 at 5'5 and L fit me comfortably, if not on the loose side. They did not shrink at all in the dryer, but they do wrinkle. Even after steaming them, I couldn't get all of the wrinkles out. I like the nice taping on the edges of the slash pockets and inside there's a cute print lining the pockets, but overall, these are going to be tricky to wear for anyone seeking upper leg coverage.

Love the Shorts, not the zipper
Purchased these about a month ago and have worn just a few times and one of the zippers on the side pockets has already broken. I am truly disappointed because I love wearing them and they are so comfortable.

More colors please
I bought these shorts 2 years ago in the carbon navy color and absolutely love them!!! I have recommended them to people I've seen looking at them in the store. But why wouldn't you make them in more colors?? I would like to order another pair, but this selection of colors is too limited. Have enough khaki shorts and don't like the other colors. Please add more colors!!

Great material, leg openings HUGE
I really like these shorts, the material is spot on and comfortable. It is hard to find shorts with a cotton blend that have some stretch and are light weight and cool for summer. These fit this criteria! However, for a size SM, the leg opening is HUGE. I understand one has to accomodate for varying shapes and figures, but I must have a 6 inch gap at the bottom hem and my legs look like toothpicks out of the bottom. I hope this will shrink down some with washing, but I might have to have them altered.

Very good quality!!
I bought this in a large, but when it came the shorts were way too big. Then I returned it for a small & now it fits perfect! The construction is great & I expect them to last a long time.
