Very Close to Perfect!
I haven’t worn it yet as it’s too warm here, but I love it! I’ve been shopping for a collared, natural fiber cardigan for years and am thrilled to have found this one. It is heavier than I expected, more like a jacket as others have said, but it feels sturdy and well made. I wish it didn’t have dropped shoulder seams, but they’re not too noticeable and I’d really love to have another in a bright, warm red. As popular as this sweater seems to be, I’m optimistic it’ll be offered in more colors in the fall. Can’t wait to wear it on a trip I have planned in the fall!

The sweater is well made, it is a bit heavier weight than I expected, but that gives it a bit more structure, so it can work as a jacket. The fit is true to size.

Perfect!
This sweater is perfect for dressing up or down. The sleeve length is spot on. There are no exposed outside seams like in the older cardigan style. The length in petite is perfect. It's warm and comfortable and it looks so nice. It's not clingy or bulky or baggy. It is one of the best sweaters I have purchased in many years. PLEASE make it in black. Everyone needs the perfect black sweater and this is it. PLEASE?!

Perfect sweater for trip to italy in the spring
I was looking everywhere for a relaxed fit flax linen jacket to take to Italy next spring-but just couldn't find one that I like-so I decided to try this sweater jacket. Although I've only worn it once-I've decided it's going to perfect for my trip and the only other jacket i will need to travel with is a rain jacket. This is heavy enough for temps in low 60's or high 50's, but not too hot in the low 70's. The camel color with go with almost everything and this is a well made sweater that should last for years. I like that it is substantial and won't wrinkle while wearing like some cardigans. It can be dresssed up or down-and the collar is a very nice addition. The buttons are a little tight but I think after I've worn it a few times they will go in the holes better. I'm 5'7, 135 lbs, normally wear a medium-so that is what I bought and it fits perfectly. Will go over a lightweight long sleeve top or dress.

Great Sweater
I bought this sweater in an X-Small, which is my usual size at llbean and I liked it so much I bought it in a second color. It is short in length but not boxy as it has a bit of a flair. It is what I would call mid-weight and that along with the collar makes it seem more like a sweater jacket.

LOVE my Cardigans!
I just received the Navy and the Nutmeg. They are absolutely beautiful in texture, soft but a substantial knit. Looks very expensive, in classic design and fit. I ordered one size up to wear over my Supima tees in every color to wear on vacation to British Colombia and Alaska. Then the winters to follow. They will also block the wind with the great knit. I have purchased beautiful sweaters in Scandanavia through the years and these go with everything, casual to dressy, Keep it up Bean!
