I love these shoes!!
Love these shoes! They fit a little large so order 1/2 size smaller than you usually would. They are comfortable, waterproof, and have good grip for walking outdoors on slippery leaves & grass. I love the grayish blue that matches jeans nicely. I also bought the tan-ish off white ones to match everything else.

Instant comfort
bought these a few days before a 3 week trip to New Zealand. I needed shoes that were waterproof and had a good tread. These fit the bill as I hiked the steepest street in the world and hike up to waterfalls in the rain. Laces could be better. Too slippery to stay tied so I had to double knot. They were comfortable from day 1.

comfortable right out of the box
I like the shoes I have worn them 2 days in a row.. BUT the shoes smell.. the odor is odd and my other sneakers do not do this. I guess I will just spray them with RIGHTGUARD after each use.. I am wondering if anyone else has noticed this?

Trendy color, BUT!!
I bought these shoes to supplement the LL BEAN hiking shoes I have LOVED since buying them almost 3, years ago. I was assured by two different sales people at the store in Lyndhurst, OH, that these were the newer version of my old, but still great, pair.
The new pair is this year’s trendy color, sage. They are not quite as comfortable as the older model and the shoelaces and their holes seem to be the problem.
The new laces are flat instead of round and can slip out of even a tightly pulled double knot. I would pay more for a pair like my older ones.

Still on the fence about these
I really liked the look of these trail shoes. BUT the left shoe makes a bopping noise when I walk. This is so annoying. I've tried tying the shoelaces differently, wearing different thickness socks but it still makes that noise. I'm not too sure what to do. I purchased the same size as other LL Bean sneakers but I think these are a tad longer. I ordered 7/5 wide. I'm bummed.

Light weight
These light weight sneakers are perfect for long walks or golf. Lots of support without being bulky, binding and heavy. No bozo toes!!!
True to size. I wear a 7 1/2 medium and they fit perfectly with a pair of socks. Love these light sage sneakers.
Wish they came in more vibrant colors.
