We added a more flexible insole and upgraded the foam underfoot for immediate comfort right out of the box. Run big
I read reviews that these might run a little large so I ordered 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear. Those were too big, especially too wide. I returned them and got a size 1/2 smaller ( now one full size smaller than I normally wear). These are still a bit wide, but fit better. The sole is a thin, so you fell the ground. Not the most comfortable shoe.

Disappointing Mocs
Bought a month ago & they haven't broken in properly. The difference between these & all the other boat mocs I've owned & loved is these have 4 eyelets & all the others have had 8 eyelets. A week after I wore them they permitted my foot to move forward in the shoe & now my big toe is rubbing against the shoe front and they're uncomfortable. Solution is, four eyelets are not enough.

Shoe sizes run big !
I really wanted to like this shoe. However, I could not find a size that fit. My normal sneaker size is 8 Wide EE, so that's what I ordered. The size 8' shoes were huge . . . So I order size 7, but they only come in Medium D not Wide EE. These shoes were way too small and tight. I need Wide EE. I gave up and return both of them.

I have been wearing these shoes for decades around in and around the house they fantastic product but as most the materials are definitely not the same as when I first bought this many years ago.
