Loved the coat until..
Warm, light, and really sharp style - who could ask for more? I take very good care of my clothes. Unfortunately, soon after I purchased it, I noticed a tiny hole where the down was coming out. Then a day or so ago, I lightly brushed against a sign and the shell tore so easily. My tailor said the material is too thin to sew and repair the shell. So while it is lightweight, the fabric is too fragile for regular use. Fortunately, LLBean stands behind their products and I am sure they will issue a refund as it’s within a year.

Inferior product
Dear Sirs
I am disappointed in the Ultra-light down jacket purchased. The zipper is made of plastic and does not work well. I am a frequent L.L.Bean customer. The jacket for the price is inferior and in my opinion does not approach your standards
