Hiking shoes
I have worn these hiking shoes at least 10 times in the last three weeks. I have been very pleasantly pleased each of my hikes have been 4-6 miles each time. No hot spots no red toes or heals very comfortable ! For my feet these are the best I've ever had.

Trail Model X Low Waterproof Hiker Men's
Great hiking shoe at a fair price. Fits well and does the job when out on the trails. Replaced a pair of Keene hiking shoes that fell apart fairly quickly and before much use. Before the Keene shoe I had similar LL Bean hiking shoes but bought the Keene shoe as they were really marked down in price. As for the Model X Low Waterproof Hiker the only issue is this waterproof model can be warm on hot days. For this reason I may decide to purchase the same shoe but without waterproofing to wear on hot summer days.

Gonna take time to break these in...
Good build quality but LL Bean's interpretation of a size 10 is tight on the width. It's the risk of ordering clothes online, especially shoes.

Great fit
Upon first opening shoe I thought it would be too stiff and uncomfortable but it feels like a perfect fit. I wear 11.5 wide. I have only worn them inside on carpet but purchased for a cruise to Alaska where we anticipate wet cold weather. So far comfortable and very well made.

My son is a dog walker and he LOVES these shoes. He also had a wide foot and it’s difficult to find shoes that fit him and are comfortable. He walks approximately 20-25 K steps a day and never complained once wearing these. Going to get hom another pair (or 2)!
