Love the Stretch
It was time for a new Bean rain coat. The stretch factor in this year’s model is exceptional! Bean rain jackets have graced my outdoor adventures for many of my 79 years! This year’s version is the best by far. Hope this is a permanent addition! Go get one, you’ll love it!

not waterproof
I bought this jacket for a vacation in New Zealand with high hopes since it says in multiple places that this is a waterproof rain jacket. I was soaked through to my shirt within the first 10minutes of a hike, had to turn around and purchase a new rain jacket. For the price, I would expect better quality. I wouldn't even say this is water resistant.
It is a nice looking jacket, it is a shell so light weight. I bought a large and it fit well with a layer underneath. But would use as a wind jacket not for rain.

Well made and looks good
I really like this jacket. It is well made and looks good. I have problems with my hands and my vision, making zippers a challenge. This zipper is large, easy to see and zips easily. I can also fit a layer under the jacket in colder weather. For reference, I am 5'4", weigh 110 lbs, and the XS fits well, even with a layer underneath.

Pretty color and comfortable but for $150 I would expect fabric to be truly water proof and not just water repellent. only other thing is that I got a size bigger to layer which made the arms a bit too long. I did not want to get a petite because I like the length in the body to cover my backside.

Perfect!
Just received my jacket and I absolutely love it. I ordered a size larger than I usually would to fit over a base layer or heavy sweater. It's perfect. The fit is great and I love the rust red color. It will be great for spring rain, but also the perfect water resistant layer over my LL Bean down jacket.
