Still the best!
I purchased these Bean Boots to replace a pair that I purchased in the early 1990’s (Maine Hunting shoe back then).
The construction looks first rate. Ordered one size down from my regular shoe size - fit is very good. Obviously the LL Bean boot department is not making much money off me with purchases 30+ years apart. The good news - they make lots of excellent clothing and gear which I purchased in on a regular basis.

Mixed emotions
I've worn LL Bean clothing most of my adult life with great results. These boots are no different, they fit well (following Bean sizing instructions) and are made well! But here's the thing, I ordered men's size 9, and they were on sale. When they arrived there was a price tag on the outside of the box with a regular price $8 bucks cheaper than what I paid. The other thing is the sizing located on the inside of the boot's tongue shows that they're women's size 11 boots being sold as men's boots! On the upside of things I now know what size women's shoes that I wear and will check to see if Bean's has anything with a higher heel and maybe an open toe for those nights out on the town...

Bean Wear for the winter
I ordered these boots using the size recommendation on the website, they fit perfectly and are very comfortable - living in a climate where snow is always a possibility during this time of year, I wanted something easy to slip into for quick jobs outside and these are perfect.

Seven mild but muddy PNW winters and I think I might finally be ready for a resole next year. The leather and stitching have held up better than my expensive Spokane loggers and the padded collars are still in great shape. These boots have outlived all of my other footwear

Comfortable, but . . . . .
Purchased after 45 yrs wishing I had these boots. While I wear a size 10 shoe, I must not have done enough research because the size 10 pair I purchased seems a little too big. They are comfortable and I think they are super. I wear them everyday now that it is rainy and wet in California. However, I do believe I shall order another pair at size 9 and hopefully they will fit my size 10 foot a little more snug; without all the excess space. But these boots I have will certainly do. An absolutely great concept for working outside when wet, and in the garden when soggy.

Perfect all weather boots
Like others have said before...SIZE DOWN. I typically wear a 10-10.5 and bought a 9 in these. The 9 fits perfect. Have worn these on the pouring rain and feet are dry. The red bottoms are a deeper red in person(like Brick red, which I like) . Very comfortable

Are you kidding me?
I love LLBean products and respect their quality. Like many other reviews, I ordered these boots last winter but due to the back order I did not get them until July. I put them into the closet until now. Here in Northern Virginia we have a blizzard coming this weekend, so I decided to get them out and break them in.
I am not sure if it is just me but these are the most UNCOMFORTABLE BOOTs I have ever worn. They are stiff as cardboard and hurt my ankles. They may keep my feet dry but my feet got cold and are now sore from wearing them.
I'm sorry... These are NOT the Boots for me.
If my opinion changes, I will repost.
