Summer time must have
Summer time requires that I wear tops of pure cotton and mostly white. The 3/4 sleeves are cooler than the long sleeves and can be rolled up above the elbow for more coolness. I love the V neck since it allows my neck to keep cool and body heat to escape. The LL Bean cotton tops last for years.
My only concern is to keep the seat belt off my neck .... but a wrap on the seat belt does help. I am spoiled.... in that I love my Bean tops and pants, summer or winter!

Disappointed
It is a heavier cotton than I wear in summer and after washing on delicate it needs to be ironed. This is not up to the quality that I am used to from LLBean.

great quality fabric
Nice weight, this t shirt is heavier/thicker than most typical t shirts, which gives it a more polish look. I ordered PM, 5'2", 125lbs, 36C, could probably go with a PS. It's a bit on the long side too. Looks great with jeans.

Soft and fits well
I like this short sleeved black top. The sleeves are a little longer so that they cover my upper arms. The fabric is soft and a little thicker than some of my summer shirts, so it covers my midriff well.

A little larger than I expected
I have had this same top in white for many many years and I always loved the fit so when I needed a navy blue top I thought I would get the same style. While I like it very much, it is a little larger than my white one and doesn't fit quite the same. I tried washing it, but it is still a little roomier than the white. I am keeping it as it is fine for what I need.
