Rated 3 out of 5 by from Miss the Polartec Power Stretch Tights Since I can no longer find the Polartec Power Stretch Tights, I called to ask if these were the same. I was told the amount of spandex is slightly different. I am so bummed they changed these. The new Primaloft ThermaStretch Fleece tights are shinier and do not fit as well. I am so disappointed. Because the Polartec ones always sold out, I assumed you would have them again this Fall due to popularity. I should've stocked up when I could. sigh. I am sure these are warm and if you never had the previous style then customers will not know what they are missing. I will be bringing mine back and looking else where.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from PLEASE BRING BACK PREVIOUS YEARS" MODEL I just bought these for my mother in England who, like me, LOVED the ones I'd bought her in grey two years ago and has used them for bicycling, golf, walking in the colder months. These new ones sounded the same but were shiny cheap material, way less comfortable and shaped differently. I still live in the ones I bought for myself two years ago - they have stood up beautifully and are my go-to leggings for cold days. But I'd like some another pair! PLEASE PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD ONES - THEY WERE HIGHER QUALITY,WAY MORE COMFORTABLE and a product for LL BEAN to be PROUD of. These are none of the above.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite winter leggings I recently purchased my 4th pair of these because I love them so much. I had two pairs of black ones last year and was able to ski and snowshoe in them most of the season very comfortably. When it got too chilly (below 20), I would throw snow pants over them and that always worked out well. They do a great job blocking wind and deflecting water. I wore them to work with tunic sweaters and tall boots also. This year, I’ve added gray and purple ones to spice things up a bit. These leggings tend to run a bit short. If you’re, say, 5’7” or taller, I advise going with medium talls. I’m 5’8” and the normal length doesn’t work. Otherwise, they run true to size.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Last year's version was better! I bought two pair of Polartec fleece leggings from LLBean last winter and lived in them. They are the warmest and most comfortable pants I own and still look almost brand new. This year I bought another and was very disappointed. The new version is Primaloft and they are not as nice as the Polartec. The new version is not as thick and soft. They are not as stretchy and do not conform as well to the body; they bag and wrinkle after they curve around my bottom. I do not think they are as warm. Although the Primaloft tights are better than what you can find other places, I beg you, please LLBean, bring back the Polartec version of these tights!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pls Bring Back 2017 Polartec Power Stretch Tights The Primaloft Therma Stretch Fleece Tights (2018) are the 2018 "replacement" product (i was told) for the Polartec Power Stretch Tights that i purchased (AND LOVE) in 2017. The material in the new "Primaloft" product is not nearly as nice. More importantly, the fit of the new tights is uncomfortable. The back is too low and even though i purchased the Large MT ones, the legs were way too short. I've worn LLBean PerfectFit Pants for a long time (they are wonderful) and i always buy the MT length in pants or tights. Please, please bring back the Polartec Power Stretch Tights (black is best for me) again and again, year after year . . . Thank You!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from cozy winter barn gear I live in northern MN and have a horse farm and it gets cold. I am in leggings or riding breeches year round everyday. I was looking for winter leggings and these fit the bill. I dont know why they put the pocket in the back thats the one thing i dont like because i am am a T 1 diabetic and use a pump. I like to put it in the waist pocket. If they did a front waist band pocket these would be perfect. I am 47 years old and dont give a hoot about fashion however i feel these are more sports or practical they are not good looking I weigh alot but i am very muscular the medium is even a bit big but very comfortable. These are thicker than what i have from other stores.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not good for long legs I have a few pairs of Bean’s Polartec Power Stretch fleece tights from last season, which I love so much that I wanted to buy more this year. I was sad to see they no longer carry the Polartec tights, so I decided to try these. I bought the same size as the Polartec—medium tall to fit my long legs. The crotch hangs so low, and when you pull the top higher, it slides back down after a few minutes. I decided to size up and try a large tall instead to see if it helped. The crotch sat a little higher, but not high enough... it sags no matter what. These tall pants are not made properly for tall women! The quality is also disappointing—they pilled badly in the knees after a couple of washes. Please bring back Polartec Power Stretch!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great color, but the fit is different I have multiple pairs of these tights in different colors, and was pleased to see the new purple color since that's my favorite. I promptly ordered 2 pairs in my usual size and found the lower leg on both pairs to be much tighter than before. I tried sizing up, but the next size was way to big all over, so I'm sticking with the smaller size and hoping the calves will stretch out a bit. Still wish you'd bring back the matte fabric from a few years ago instead of the shinier fabric that pills quickly, but I do like these and wear them frequently.
