Adults' Mountain Classic Camp Sleeping Bag, 40° is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very roomy and comfortable I have been looking for a long sleeping bag in a pink or purple color for years now. I also didn’t want a mummy bag, so when I saw this in Berry I knew I had to buy it. I was surprised how big it actually is. Looking at the measurements now, I guess I only needed the regular size bag because I’m only 72” tall. There’s also more width to the Long bag, so I can easily move around in it. In my old bag, I was used to sleeping with a fleece blanket inside of it so I could “insulate” myself and block out the cold. That is not necessary with this bag at all! I slept with the blanket the first night and sweated all night. Wish I had found this sleeping bag sooner!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from NIce overall, but for warm summer weather. I used this bag for the first time last weekend (middle Jun). We tent camped Virginia, morning temps dropped into the mid to upper 50s. Brrrrr, the bag didn't keep me warm. The last morning the temps were in the low 60s and I stayed warm. Bag was on the exped mattress. I must say I was very disappointed in the performance. I use the rule of thumb to add 10 degrees to the bag rating, but it won't come close to 40 degrees (which is what I wanted). I just wish it was warmer. Plus, it is slippery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I actually can sleep now. Needed a bag that I wouldn’t overheat in. Use it in my little 21’ RV, and at my age, I get WAY too hot in my LLBean flannel lined (which is also a great bag, although I use that under this bag for cushion). Roomy, I can move around and not get the twisties, and the inside doesn’t feel like yucky nylon. I’m 5’4, #105 and still got the long as I wanted room for my beagle as well. Very nice bag, and as always, LLBean quality never disappoints

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE This sleeping bag is just what I needed. I don't do a lot of intense camping, but I needed a new bag (to replace the one I got 15 years ago), so I took a chance on this one. I'm so glad I did. It has kept me very warm each time I've used it, and I love the pocket to put my glasses in. I just have to make sure I don't roll over on to them in the night. :) It stores really small, and it makes a great blanket on chilly mornings. I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CHILLY KNIGHTS..... I had long enjoyed an LL Bean mummy bag, down filled, and it kept me very comfortable in 40 degree temps. But it became increasingly difficult to use as I tried to zip and unzip it. (Not the bag's fault.) So I searched for a traditional, rectangular bag that was rated to at least a 40 degree temperature. It seemed that all the down-filled bags are mummy bags, but I found this one with "hollofill" which is a synthetic substitute for down, though obviously not as effective, but good enough. I've now tried it out in 40 degree conditions, and it definitely gets the job done. Yes, I'm wearing flannel or sweats, which I always have while using sleeping bags. So, is this bag properly temperature rated? Answer: Yes. Is this bag easy to zip and unzip? Answer: Yes. Is it comfortable? Answer: Yes. Gets the job done, and the price was good. Yes, I am definitely satisfied and can recommend it to others.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice! I like the square fully unzippable shape of this bag, I actually use it as a bedspread. The long makes it the perfect size for a full bed. It is slippery, a bit more texture inside would be nice, but not a deal breaker. The colors are vibrant, not dull like most sleeping bags. The little pocket is a great extra, it's handy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well-made bag for summer camping. Bought these sleeping bags to use in our small pop-up camper. The weight is good for summer and a bit beyond. I like the fact that i can unzip the bag at the bottom so I can keep my feet cooler. We got the xl size - my husband is 6' , but i am short; however the extra lenght lets me pull the bag over my head which i like. Nice and roomy so you don't feel snarled up when turning over etc.
