Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product, watch sizing Overall a good product, but you must watch sizing and understand that these ice cleats do wear out over time .. size chart online can be misleading .. if you plan to wear these Stabilizer Bean Traxx on some sort of winter soft sneaker, the sizing chart works okay .. it might work for Bean boots, depending on where your Bean boot size is on the size chart range .. if your Bean boot is at the upper end of the size chart range, you likely will need to size up .. for Bean Storm Chaser boots or similar heavy duty winter boots that are well insulated and have thick soles, heels, and toes, you definitely need to size up .. I wear size 11 Bean boots (normally wear size 12 regular shoe, but Bean boots are designed so that just about everyone needs to downsize at least a half size and usually a full size to get a proper fit versus your normal shoe size) and I need an XL in the Bean Traxx to comfortably fit on my uninsulated low cut Bean shoe .. and for my Bean Storm Chasers, I definitely need an XL for it to stretch properly over the shoe footprint .. the Bean size chart is really appropriate more for uninsulated thin constructed winter sneakers or similarly lightly constructed shoes .. the other thing that is important to realize is that the metal cleats on the bottom of the Bean Traxx will wear out as you wear the unit on the shoe on surfaces outside .. I walk my dogs 2 miles a day all winter long and walk on a mixture of sand or frozen ice and slush on the side of the road or on the edge of the asphalt paved roadway .. I started last winter in mid-November with a brand new Bean Traxx on my shoes and, by the end of the season in late March, had worn the metal cleats from their new sharp tooth edges down to pretty much flat metal stubs even with the bottom rubber surface of the stretch rubber .. during those 3 1/2 months and considering the off days when actively bad weather and storms kept us indoors, I covered about 180 miles at the 2 mile per day pace .. so these ice tracks will wear out with moderate usage over the course of a winter and will need to be replaced just about once a year for best effect .. they do work well on winter surfaces outside, however .. just understand the expendability and consider the sizing issues involved ..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cleats for Ice These are quality cleats but they are very hard to put on as they are very rigid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love These cleats These cleats perform very well on my snow covered and sometimes icy local roads. I’ve been wearing different versions of them over the past few years as well as other brands. But always go back to these. Having velcro strap over top of the boot helps in keeping them on. I love them. They fit tight in my boots and take a little pulling to stretch them on, but you want that tight fit. I put them in a pair of LL Bean Storm Chaser boots and leave them on. Bought a second pair of Storm Chaser, so I can go with or without cleats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great spikes The ice stabilizers really work well. They walk easily and provide very good traction without being too heavy or awkward to walk with. The heal spikes are necessary for walking as your heal hits first when walking. Only negative is they run small. My size 13 fits snug in the 13.5-16 size.
