Lovely quality, nice styling features
Lovely quality. Nice styling features. If it's truly water-proof, that I can't tell you yet!! I hope so!! I only wish it were longer to keep my pant legs or long skirts dry.

i love LL Bean's women's clothing, but I"m limited in what I can buy due to the fact that you don't offer more styles in Tall. I'm 6 feet tall with somewhat long arms, so I often pass up styles I'd like to buy. Hope you consider adding more "talls" to your women's selections.

Great transitional coat - warm but not too bulky. Perfect for days when it rains, sleets and snows in late winter or early spring.

Good for travel
I purchased for a trip to England and Scotland in June. At first hesitantly buy a full coat but remembered my last visit in Sept. that had alot of rainy--drizzly days in London. Scotland will be more inclement and the zip out liner is a desirable feature for the day and can be reunited with the rain coat for the chilly nights. It fit really well and compresses to pack into a medium size compression packing cube.

Best rain jacket I ever had!
I bought this about a month ago. I live in the snow belt in Ohio and we’ve gotten plenty of snow, ice rain, rain, and wind. This is worth every penny! This jacket has stood up to all that weather, and is warm and comfortable to move around in, even with a thick sweater underneath. Also a plus, I get so many compliments on this jacket and the color just brightens everyone’s day. Thanks LL Bean for another great piece to invest in!

PERFECT coat for winter trip to Europe
I purchased this for a trip to the UK this month (February), where it's cold and windy. The temp ranged from the low 30's to mid 50's (fahrenheit). It rained every afternoon and this was the perfect coat! Kept me warm and dry. I used another lightweight coat/fleece under it for really cold days. And I love that I can remove the liner and use as a simply a raincoat on warmer days.

Problem with size
I have several Bean raincoats in size small. This coat was a large, but it was the same size as my old coats. It was returned. This is the first time I have been unhappy with a Bean product.

This garment is so short, falling just below my hip, that it can not be called a "coat" at all. As a "rain coat" it is of no use at all. Who wants wet legs?
