Shearling is only around ankle
I decided to pay the extra money for the shearling lined boots because I wanted them to be super warm for winter. I was so disappointed to find out that the shearling is only around the ankle, and there is very minimal insulation for warmth around the toes, which is the whole reason I purchased the boot. If I put thicker socks on to makeup for the lack of insulation in the toe, it’s too thick for the shearling in the ankle. Not a great design and definitely wouldn’t recommend for any temps below 30°. Also the suggestion to size down 1/2 size was incorrect for me— they’re too small. They are nicely made otherwise, but overall disappointed.
