Fabric is nice and light; Longing for Tall length
I love this very light fabric. I ordered a second pair, but wish for more color selection such as warm brown. The 33" inseam is OK, but I could use a 34-35" inseam for hiking pants. I notice some of Bean's men's pants come in long lengths and I would appreciate that, too. I would definitely buy more pants from LLBean if a longer inseam was offered.

Perfect for that hike and flexible for climbs.
I bought these pants a month ago for hiking. I love them . They fit well, are surprisingly comfortable in all types of weather. Easy to climb and scramble in while hiking.

Very versatile
I bought a pair of these for a European trip. I was very concerned about bulk (I was restricted to only a carry on bag) yet needed some warmer windbreaker ability. I solved that problem by wearing a lightweight silk base layer under them and that combination was perfect. I also wore them without the base layer. They also dried very quickly when I had to wash them. I will probably get another pair in a different color.

Worked perfectly
I bought these for a European trip. I wanted to keep the packing light and these were perfect. I also wore a light silk base layer when I needed something extra, especially for windy conditions. That worked great. I will probably get another pair in a different color.
