Perfect first layer for cold winter
This silk undershirt is exactly what I wanted. Light weight so it doesn’t add bulk beneath a winter sweater but definitely adds warmth. I like that the length works nicely for a petite person like me (5’2”, 110 lbs) especially the arms. Many undershirts have sleeves that are too long for me and hang below my sweater sleeves. This shirt also has cuffs which helps to keep the sleeves under control and out of the way. The fabric feels wonderful against my skin and adds good warmth.

Excellent base layer
I usually wear merino wool base layers, but this is an excellent alternative. It is not quite as warm as merino, but is lighter and wonderful for travel, mostly indoor days, vigorous outdor activity. Haven't had it that long but, like merino, it seems it doesn't need to be washed as much as synthetics or cottons. Bought in black, waiting for the cream to be available!
