Great khaki color, very comfortable shirt...
I like these lightweight canvas shirts and this is my most recent purchase. I have several in different colors. I typically wear them untucked with a contrasting colored tee underneath, normally with the front buttons unbuttoned, and during warmer temperatures, with the sleeves rolled up. So air flows freely around my torso. To my sensibilities this is the quintessential casual look. A look that I am exceeding comfortable wearing.

My Shirt Choice
I've had similar shirts for several years. I like the fabric and that there are 2 pockets.

Still Worth the Expense
I am happy to find that L.L. Bean has maintained the same level of quality in these shirts as those they sold a few years ago. Just need to avoid hot water wash and/or a hot dryer so they will last and not prematurely fade, shrink or get bunched up.

I was expecting a shirt like the LL bean one I have worn while putzing around the house for a few years. The material is now noticeably lighter than on my old shirt. I like the construction of this new shirt excepting the buttonholes are requiring more of my attention to getting them buttoned. I am not talking about spacing, it's the size of them! Leave the buttons alone, do not make them smaller.

Bought this for hubs. It fits good, material feels good, and he's happy with it. It does wrinkle a lot when washed. I air dry it, so can't answer about shrinkage by using the dryer.

Fits well but needs different fabric
I bought this in hopes that it would replace one of my husband’s chambray work-around-the-house shirts, but it’s hard finding a chambray traditional fit in Xtra Large Tall shirt from LL Bean (or anywhere for that matter)… most are untucked. So I thought we’d try the canvas but it comes out of the dryer in dire need of ironing. If only you could do the same shirt in chambray.

The pen pocket is great and happy that has not been eliminated, but it needs to be slightly wider, as many ball point pen don't fit.
Thanks,
