Rated 4 out of 5 by from Who sources buttons? This a small issue but an issue nonetheless. The button are too small making buttoning the shirt a little more difficult than it would be with adult-sized bottons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Canvas? Nope. Do I like? Yes, but … This shirt’s ‘older brother’ is a beast. Still giving me solid service 7-8 years now, but showing age after a good life. Now, this shirt is no longer canvas & ‘briar resistant.’ Nor does it have the button several inches above the cuff that allows one to unbutton the cuffs, roll up once, and have them stay comfortably in place. And they’ve added useless flaps over the breast pockets that do nothing except curl in the drier. Will I keep it? Yes bc it’s still a good shirt, 4-star, but no longer 5-star stellar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice work shirt for a woodworker I bought this shirt because I wanted something comfortable and tough. This shirt fit the bill. I am 6'1'' and 185 pounds. The shirt is a tall medium.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A tough, long-lasting shirt with plenty of style Tough fabric without the bulkiness, plus the cut is generous for less-than-trim men like your truly. I've had several of these sunwashed canvas shirts and they last forever!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good winter shirt These have been a favored winter shirt for me for decades. The inexplicable addition of a flap to the pockets has also been a consisitent detrimental annoyance. I guess Bean added it to shirts back in the early 20th century to mimic the militaristic appearance as opposed to the single breast pocket of civilian attire. These days the flap renders the pockets useless since they are too broad and too shallow to accomodate a cellphone and the flap is merely an additional annoying impediment to any utility. Such pocketed shirts were features of some of my formal military attire in days of yore but the military forbade the wearer to carry anything in the pockets. They were nothing more than another aspect of military conformity in eradication of individuality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Canvas Shirt I have an old shirt like this and wanted a new one. The color of my old shirt is a nice clean light blue color, but the new shirt is not, it is a light blue with beige blended in that dulls the appeal of the shirt for me. Was this an intentional change. Had the local stores have stocked the shirt, I might not have bought it. Quality of the shirt seems the same as my old one. Thank you for asking.
