Quality fabric and fit
I'm a tried and true Land's End purchaser for most of my polo and tshirt tops. I have almost every color and I love them. HOWEVER, I tried an LLBean Tshirt and polo. It took another try to get the size right but my gosh, the T'shirt was beautifully made. The fabric, (same as advertised with Land's End) was so much more polished and finished well. I just made another order and will keep those two T-shirts for a time when I need something just a little dressier than a regular Tshirt. The POLO top is HEAVY. I think that will be ok but not sure if it will be good for summer? I am 80 years old and get cold so it may be what I need. Again, the quality of the fabric was so much different from Land's End. I will be keeping my eyes open for different colors and patterns from LLBean. (Usually, the patterns are NOT my favorite but Land's End has some pretty sad designs too.)

Great shirt!
I love these polo shirts. 100% cotton just feels so wonderful. These are not clingy at all and stay nice after washing. I have to convince myself not to wear one every day, because they really are my favorite. I have several colors, and really wish there were even more, needing purples, deep red, royal blue and dark brown!

So Promising But . . .
The fabric is perfect. The heft of the polo is just right (unlike so many out there that use too thin fabric). There really needs to be some give at the bottom, though. There are no notches that would make for greater ease. Right now I'm not wearing the shirts because they are too tight on the bottom and too loose on the top. I'll take the give on the top and I so wish there was just some give at the bottom but nothing doing. And that's my big disappointment. I'll have to wait until I lose more weight off my stomach. Why wouldn't you want to make a shirt with some give? I understand you want the shape to hold, but just a little would do the trick for me. I just don't like tight clothes.
