Our classic casual coat is easy to move in and layer under. With little touches like inverted pleats and buttoned patch pockets it's no surprise this coat continues to be a customer favorite, year after year. Inspired by our iconic Field Coat (originally named Maine Duck Hunting Coat), first introduced in 1924.

Excellent Purchase
I love this barn jacket!!! I bought the olive green color in XL and it fits perfectly. Flannel lining is warm and comfortable too. Have worn it almost every day since it arrived and have gotten lots of compliments!!! Love the pocket placement. And the brown corduroy at wrists on the collar looks great too!!! Would definitely recommend this to everyone!!! Love it!!!!

Fantastic for everything
My LLBean field coat finally wore out after over 20 years of wear. I needed a replacement but the field coats were sold out. I figured this might do the job. This coat isn't as heavy as my field coat was but it is a nice medium weight. It's great for cooler days especially in the fall and spring. It's become my new go to coat. The fit is perfect even when worn with a sweater under. It's perfect for dog walks.

This is a great jacket, but runs big. I normally wear a size 8 (or medium) but had to get an extra small. But I do love this jacket.

Adirondack Barn Jacket
I bought the washed orchid barn coat, and I love it! I love the color, with the contrasting brown corduroy collar and rolled up sleeves. I also love how the coat is longer in the back. My husband loves this jacket on me, and I have received compliments about how classy and feminine it looks. I’m going to buy the green one next! If you bring back one in red, I’m in!
