Great mittens
A little tight to put on and inconvenient to use when driving but unbelievably perfect for long walks in subzero weather. Also, you can wear the mittens by themselves.

chopper mitts
The first pair were too big; I haven't gotten the replacement pair yet. Ask me after I get them.

Thumbs Up on the Classic Chopper Mitts
I've only used them 3-4 times, but so far, I'm really happy with them. They're comfortable, very warm, seem reasonably water resistant, and I love the fact that you can remove the liners for drying things out if they do get the least bit wet. They can be a bit tricky to put on when you're starting with the liners out. The best method I've found is to put a liner on one hand and insert it into the corresponding outer mitten (pulling it one with your bare hand), then take that one off (leaving the liner in the outer mitten), and do the same for the other liner and mitten. Then, when you put on the assembled mittens, it's easiest to get your thumbs in place by pulling on the liners rather than pulling on the outer mittens. All in all, I think they're great, and although awfully pricey, they seem worth the money, provided that they hold up over time. By the way, I have small hands; I chose the Small size based on other reviews, and I'm glad I did, as I wouldn't want them to be any larger. P.S. They smell wonderful!

Great quality for hiking
These are the first mittens I have gotten and was disappointed to find out that they are not suitable for work. The quality of them is top notch and work well when used for walks. The fault is probably on me not knowing.

Love the Wool!
The inner mitten reminds me of hand knit wool mittens

OK Mitts
The mitts are nice, but the liners are of poor quality. The cotton inner liner wares out quickly. I prefer to keep the mitts because the leather is good and I need the mitts, so I bought Fox wool liners which are more durable.

Great mittens!
My husband loves the mittens! He has mobility issues and they're roomy enough for him to get on by himself, and still keep his hands warm.

Layering is the solution to cold!
This is my second pair of these gloves. The first was for me. This pair was for my wife. She was tired of her hands being cold when she took her dog out. I purchased these gloves, along with a wool liner glove from SmartWool. That combo has seen me through ice storms and polar vortexes quite happily. My wife has loved her gloves. Her hands have been cold since Christmas.
