Perfect shorts for the heat.
These shorts fit me perfectly. They mid rise, so don’t constrict your waist. The pockets are plenty big, even for my large phone. The material is lightweight but seems fairly tough, and it’s well stitched. I bought the olive and the rusty pink color. They may be a little short for my older lady legs, but in the high heat os summer, I just don’t care! They are perfect for gardening, errands, hiking, and those colors are great for hiding your grubby fingerprints from gardening.

Very Pleased with the Fit
I've gained weight and needed to go up a size, dreading finding shorts to fit my pear shape. I'm really happy with the way vintage 207 shorts fit and with the fabric. They stay crisp but have a little give to them. They wear and wash extremely well.

Ordering in every color!
Before I left for vacation, I was struggling to find shorts that were flattering and an age appropriate length. The brand that I have worn for over a decade recently changed the style of their classic chinos to a vintage wide-legged 90’s look. Yuck. I don’t normally wear front pocket shorts but bought them out of desperation. I love them! The length is between a 5” short short and a Bermuda. I was worried that they would look too much like cargo shorts, but they are polished and tailored.
I am in Grand Cayman right now but I’m ordering them in every color right now so they’ll be waiting for me when so get home!
For reference, I am 62, 5’5” and 135lbs. I bought a size 8 and they run TTS. They do stretch out a little bit so I am ordering a pair in a size 6, just in case I drop a few lbs. and hit my goal weight of 132.
