Beautiful but has issues
I saw the great reviews and really liked how this looked in photos. I ordered size small based on reviews and am glad I did. I think I could have gone for XS when my normal size is medium. My main issues are the very baggy sleeves and fabric. There is way too much fabric around the upper arm area and this makes me look much wider/bigger than I am. Also, it sheds. The black color looks almost gray in some areas and the cashmere texture looks like it has been worn/washed/crushed. Likely won’t see that in the lighter colored fabrics but very noticeable on the black. I’m assuming this is a result of how this is knitted but for all the money spent, I can’t say I’m as impressed as the others. It’s warm and soft but not as stylish as I had hoped.

Given the glowing reviews, I decided to splurge. The shape is appealing and the knit substantial. Sadly, the cashmere sheds. I could see loose fibers on the outside of the sweater as I tried it on. This fuzziness alone made me think the sweater might end up looking shoddy in a short time. The fibers ended up on the shirt I was wearing beneath when I tried it on and in the sink below the bathroom mirror where I checked my reflection. Returned.

Just incredible
Although I purchased this for a percentage off, I would pay full price for it. I ordered my normal size of SM and it is a perfect fit. Not too clingy (I hate that) or too tight in the arms, and very classy looking. This is a rare sweater that will ALWAYS look good for years to come. The only thing I would change is maybe make the collar a little "tighter", but it does work very well with a collared shirt underneath like the picture, so not a deal breaker. I purchased the camel color but am definitely considering the red or black. Love love love this!

Couldn't Be Nicer
This is a gorgeous cashmere, cable, crewneck sweater. It's soft, substantial, and sensibly priced. If you think that it's pricey, you're probably too young to remember when smaller, lighter-weight cashmere sweaters were selling for a lot more than this one. Even at full price, this sweater is a good buy......AND it's beautiful! (By the way, did you notice all my alliteration?)

Thick, superior quality cashmere sweater. Runs TTS - size up if you want an oversized fit. This is definitely boxy and hits at the mid hip. The quality of fabric and heavy weight makes this an exceptional buy from LL Bean. I just wish it came in more colors
