Meet our Lightweight Field Jacket, a fresh take on our timeless Field Coat for a new generation. Features the same iconic rugged look and classic details as the original, with a lighter weight, slightly cropped fit - and well-loved vintage look.
Inspired by an original - ours. Our Field Coat was first introduced in 1924 as the Maine Duck Hunting Coat. It was an immediate favorite - loved for its rugged look and quality craftsmanship. Plus, it coordinated perfectly with our Maine Duck Hunting Boots (now known as "Bean Boots"). The legacy continues with this stylish lighter version. We love timeless fall classics, but a timeless and seasonless classic is even better.

Happy Jacket
I found this jacket on sale online and was drawn to the warm, sunny color and fun style. This looks good with wider leg pants or baggier jeans which, thankfully, are making a great comeback. The shorter style falls at the hip and helps give length to legs with a higher waisted pant. I am finding a I prefer this sturdier cotton fabric to synthetics. It washes and wears better for my active life style. Perfect little jacket to add polish to your outfit or to have an extra layer on a cool day.

Two stars for a great color.
With all the kind reviews I thought this would be soft and flattering. No. It is stiff and unbecoming. I bought a small (5'8"; 128lbs) and it is still very large. The sweep at the hips look like a swing jacket. I could have dealt with the size if the fabric was not like a board.
