Wanted to love
Summary - Pretty sweater, but the pockets are not practical and the fit didn't stand up to the care instructions.
I bought this sweater at the flagship store after eyeing it online for a month. I tried it on in the store and had been very happy with the fit and the sleeve length (I am 5'10" with a slim/athletic build. Sleeves can be hit or miss with me at LL Bean). After washing it according to the fabric instructions, prior to use, I went to wear the sweater and the sleeves were two inches shorter. In addition to this, I noticed that the pockets hang very low on the sweater and will extend beyond the waist hem of the sweater if you rest your hands or a phone in them.

Clever Claire Feels Skeptical
My cousin has an L.L.Bean pullover which looks very snazzy on her. I decided to take the plunge and purchase a wool fleece pullover (size PXL, color balsam). I tried it on as soon as I received it. The fit is perfect and drapes my body. The arctic temps where I live are too severe to wear my new pullover without a coat at this time. One things that disturbs me is that the price tag is cheaper than what I paid even at a reduced rate. I’m also concerned about the fabric pulling, according to the reviews I’ve read online.
