Favorite Christmas Present
The vest arrived before Christmas so I could wrap it and put it under the tree. This vest is puffier and warmer than my wife’s other vests and has become her favorite. Fits good and is comfortable to wear. Two thumbs up!

Fantastic!
This vest was given to me as a gift, and I love it! Perfect fit (not too long), gorgeous color, and wonderfully warm. So, a fantastic vest!
However, I do have one quibble: The pockets do not have zippers, but instead have snaps. The snaps are awkward and do not adequately protect the items in my pockets. If the pockets were closed by zippers, or if there were a secure inside pocket, then the vest would be perfect.

Nice heavy zipper, lovely color, great quality
I just bought this vest in the plum shade for the coldest December in years on Cape Cod. Perfect to wear alone with a heavy sweater or layered under a parka. Matte finish exterior is classy and keeps it from sliding around under a jacket or catching in the zipper. Very lightweight considering it's warmth and down fill power. I found it comfortably true to size. I'm 138 lbs and 5'4' and a medium was perfect for a snug but not tight fit. A fuller figure may want a size up if you really want a looser fit (although you may not get the warm hug on a cold day.). The plum color is lovely but a little browner in person than on the monitor. It is a wonderful color to coordinate with greys, navy, black, olive, or darker khaki pants or plaid flannel shirts.
You can tell I love it. Oh, and the pockets are warm, fairly deep, and set in just the right place.
Remember that it is waist length (cropped), not hip length, so don't complain it is too short, and has a zipper, so don't complain about any snaps, teehee. Enjoy...

The eggplant color looks great with browns / greys / Orange (YES, orange!). Haven't tried pink yet but I know that would work too. I got the large and it fits to size. Great vest~!

A Great Winter Vest
The Mountain Classic vesr is a reall gem. Very warm, yet not stuffy, and so light you don’t know its on. The eggplant color (violet) works great for my wife. And the large baffles give it the look for which I guess the term “classic” was chosen.
