For nearly 90 years, we've been making our authentic Scotch Plaid flannel shirts the way we always have: better than everyone else's. Our exclusive flannel fabric is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.
- Made of high-quality Portuguese cotton flannel, an L.L.Bean exclusive.
- 100% polyester batting insulation.
- 100% polyester taffeta lining for easy layering.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Lightly insulated, with handsome quilted texture.
- Authentic tartans are yarn-dyed for lasting color.

For over 40 years, I've loved L.L. Bean!
Back in the early days, I ordered from the catalogue. Now I can order on-line for the same high-quality products at a reasonable price. I even made a special trip to visit The Freeport, MN store in the middle of the night. An outdoors fantasy Island!

He Loves It!
Bought this for my husband for Christmas. He wanted an old school button jacket shirt, and this is perfect! He loves the pockets although they are a little deep and hard to reach the bottom. He sometimes wears a 3XL but the 2XLT is perfect. Would order again!
