Not what I'd hoped for
I had high hopes for these pants because I bought 3 pair of a very similar style/design several years ago that I just love(d). However, I have gained weight and they are now tight in the waist. Since the description said these pants were also slim and mid-rise, I ordered a size up (12) from the previous ones, but they are not very slim, they actually seem quite baggy, and the waist is about the same as my old size 10, so that won't work. Exchanging for a size 10 wouldn't help obviously, so I will have to return
them. Otherwise, the pants would be fine. I like the material.

Disappointed
They seemed like they would be just what I wanted but that was not the case. Despite the fact that I bought the same size I always wore of LL Bean pants, these were too small.

Almost Perfect
Love the fit - very comfortable and they look sharp. They look nice with a dressy top for evenings.
The front pockets do gap and I have had my keys fall out. A zipper would solve both of those problems and make them more secure for traveling! I am petite, but ordered size 4 regular, as I wanted them longer (not into the ankle style).

Too many seams - Useless Pockets
As other reviewers have mentioned, the front pockets are too shallow to hold anything securely. What I wasn't expecting is the extra seams on the legs. I bought both a size 14 regular and a size 16 regular. The 16 was too big. The 14 was a tad snug. The black is not a true black, but more faded. I'm returning both.

I love these pants, you should be snapping them up. Flattering silhouette, soft light (but not too light, flimsy, clinging) fabric, love the ankle length because I don't have to hem them up ;). Unfortunately for me, they are cut for my 20's - 30's hourglass figure, not my mid-70's thick midsection figure - slightly too snug in the waist, next size up is too baggy in the low hip and thighs - otherwise I would have 2 more colors.

4+ but not quite a 5
I bought these pants and took them on a trip to the Netherlands and I was glad for them. They are comfortable to wear. The only reason they weren't a 5 star pant for me was the front pockets were small. I could fit my small phone in them but I was concerned the phone would fall out. I also would have loved a vent or a zipper at the ankle to enlarge the calf area a bit. With this in mind, I'd still consider buying them in another color.
