Beautiful lightweight flannel blouse
I am so glad I purchased these before they went on sale. Because sale usually means the item will be discontinued. I bought two, the deepest green check and the dark bronze check. Both colors are so pretty, but the dark green is my favorite. I wanted something specifically to wear with wide leg jeans. They’re perfect for that because they’re a little shorter and somewhat boxy. I purchased both the large and medium. They are a relaxed fit, so they do run a little large. I weigh about 150lbs and am 5’3”. The medium fit better so I sent the large back. The flannel is lightweight but warm enough in winter. The sleeves are long enough and the square neck style is more feminine than a collared shirt. I washed one so far, but lined dry in order to avoid any shrinkage.

A good holiday top
Its a perfect blouse for Winter festivities. It has ample room for ease of movement, a necessary quality for middle aged women. Beautiful shade of red.

Blousy plaid flannel
I love the color of this lightweight flannel plaid but the fit was a little too blousy in the shoulder area. Maybe the medium would have suited me better.

I chose rustic red and the fabric is nice and the shape of the blouse is pretty. The plaid matches fairly well across the front but not at all on the side seams and the match between the front yoke and sleeve could certainly be better. I’ve sewn enough to see that it would not be difficult to make a much better pattern match and the lack of it really detracts from
the overall impression.

Flannel Top
I really love this top. I love wearing flannel and now I can wear a flannel top that is more like a blouse than a shirt. I like square necklines and don't see many shirts with them, so I was immediately drawn to this top. It washes and dries well, no ironing (unless you just like to iron). I bought one in red and one in blue/green check. The puffy sleeves are a little too puffy, but I'm a sleeve pusher upper so not a problem for me. I've bought a lot from LL Bean over the years, some I should have returned but these are keepers that I'll wear a lot.

Beautiful Shirt. Love the weight of the flannel.
Unfortunately, the shirt "swallowed me up." I bought my regular size, but with the square neck and the very full sleeves which had elastic at the wrists, there was just too much fullness. I wish I could have kept it though because the color was wonderful.
