Nice looking, versatile, and comfortable
I ordered down a size and am happy with the fit. I plan to wear these pants on an overnight flight to Europe in a few months as well as wear them during the trip. Today I even wore them to church because they were roomy enough to allow me to wear silk long johns under the pants on an unusually cold day, and they worked fine for that. I like having the zippered pockets for travel too.

Not the ones!
I so wanted to love these pants. The fabric was much thinner than I expected and more stretchy. They hugged me in my stomach and made any bulges very obvious. I returned.

Great fabric and color; far too large and long
The fabric has a great hand feel, and the charcoal gray color is wonderful - would not feel like you are wearing sweats going out for a semi-casual event.
But the sizing is way off. Having read the reviews, I ordered a size down from my regular, and I really needed to go 2 sizes down.
At 5 feet tall I'm shorter than most petites, but LL Bean has always been reliable in length for me in petites - not so here. These are several inches too long.
So unfortunately, they are going back.

Strongly consider sizing down
Well, LLBean did try to warn me to size down, and I honestly, I probably should have, or at least ordered both the Medium and the Small to see which one would fit better. Waist sizing is indeed generous. So is length. I bought a Petite and that seems a bit long.
Other than that, they are extremely soft, comfortable and cozy.

These pants are made great, great material, and could be very versatile! I was so excited to get these, however, when I tried them on, I am swimming in them! I have several different types of pants from LL Bean that I used to determine what size I should buy in these, but I know even an XS would be way too big also. Bummer!

Non-adjustable waist a problem
The material holds its shape and is of medium weight. However, I must mark this product down as there is no way to adjust the waist. On me, the medium waist is huge. A way to adjust the waist or a smaller waist would make these pants a favorite go-to.
