Perfect except...
Love everything EXCEPT the whiskering on the front near the pockets. It acts as a highlighter and not in a good way...It would be perfect if it were one solid color.

Nearly like the jeans available 30 to 50 yrs ago,
These are 90% the jeans I've been looking for since we changed from buying clothes in stores to buying on line. The correct fit and with larger front and back pockets. LL Bean can make one improvement - to NOT put the "faded" fabric lines on the front. Actually, I bought a second pair hoping those lines would be less, but they're the same on the 2nd pair.

Disappointed with LL Bean
Didn’t fit well. Quality of material poor. Denim was super thin. Definitely not the high quality jeans that LL Bean used to sell and way over priced.
Oh, by the way, you have to look for jeans in the site, they are now called pants.

Runs small
I buy other LL Bean pants in a size 12 and these in a size 12 are barely able to button and not comfortable at all. If you have any sort of hips or bum, you probably want to size up. They certainly don't fit me the way they look in the photo. Denim seems good quality though. Its frustrating when sizes are consistent across a brand.

Perfect jeans!
These jeans are perfect for me. Usually a 2X is too long, and if they're big enough for my bottom they're 'way too big around the waist. Whoever designed these is my idol!
